Excelso is a term used to grade quality due to the correlation between bean size and coffee flavor. Supremo and Excelso coffee beans are harvested from the same tree, then sorted by size after the beans are processed. Possible flavors: Apple · Caramel · Chocolate Process: Swiss Water Process The Swiss Water Process is a chemical free decaffeination method which uses only the purest hot water in British Colombia to soak green coffee beans, dissolving the caffeine. The water is then filtered, removing 99.9% of the caffeine without diminishing the flavor of the beans, creating a light, smooth brew.
